Very sad story, but why did she leave 4 month old in SUV!?
#1 - Wed Jul 2, 2008 11:26 AM EDTI agree. But I have left my kids in my car, especially if they are sleeping, to drop something in the mailbox or to run to the door to tell someone something. And I don't think I'm a bad mother for it. However, I won't be doing that anymore. I usually leave my car running so as not to stop the AC (we live in the deep south) It wouldn't even have been over the keys with me, because my car would have been running and ready to take. Never again!!!!
I am sorry, but a good mother would not leave a 4 month old in the car to run into a store...that would have taken much more time than getting out to drop mail in a box or ring a doorbell.
Who cares why? The question is why was the slimy b-s-a-d that stabbed her in this country!!!!!!!!

It is a tragic day when children lose their mother at such a young age, to be robbed of that is sickening. But I have to agree with others in saying, what mother would leave her 4 month old baby in a car?? She refused to give her murderer the keys cause the baby was in the car but to think if she wasnt so lazy or absent minded or whatever excuse was used to leave a 4 month old in a car alone she would have been holding the baby and would have easily just handed over the keys and would more than likely be alive today. Though is saying that I still think its a horrible tragedy and I hope Timoteo Rios is brought to justice.
Also they never mentioned what happened to the baby but say Timoteo Rios may still have her car? Anyone know?
Where is the baby now? Was it rescued or is it missing? I don't remember an Amber Alert about this.

Illegal immigrant from Mexico? Stealing a job wasn't enough, he had to take a life too. When he is apprehended, deport his limbs one by one. Bad enough our own citizens might kill others, we don't need that piece of trash border-jumping to commit murder.

I have nothing against people entering this country LEGALLY!! But I keep hearing about illegal aliens and their rights in this country. What about these kids' rights to have their mother in their life?

safe to leave it in the car for 3 minutes to pay a bill, and that she was safe in her own country......Wrong on both counts.
The more relavent question is what was this murderer doing here illegally? The answer is because the gov't at the Fed and State level do not aggresively enforce the law. Now he is back across the border and it will a year to two to get him extradicted from that scum bag nation known as Mexico.
Clear it up?

I raised 3 children and have 5 grandchildren. I would never, even for a moment leave a child in a car. As sad as this story is, it could have been avoided if not for her leaving her baby in the car. I have raised 3 children and have 5 grandchildren and would NEVER leave a child in a car for even a minute. I feel for the children and pray they will learn something from their tragedy. There is strength in prayer.

I don't agree that she made a wise decision in leaving the child in the car for any amount of time, but that doesn't negate the fact that she was killed by an illegal. It makes me sick to see the countless numbers of victims (mostly white victims) be raped, robbed, kidnapped and murdered by minorities and many of them are illegals. Reverse the roles for a minute and have the victim a mexican and the thug a white man and the headlines would read differently. A huge numbers of illegals in this country are not here to work a respectable job to support their families like the liberal media wants people to think and this crime is a perfect example to prove my point and this was just one of numerous news accounts of whites being victimized by these illegal thugs.
I plan on writing an article concerning the huge number of Hispanic gangs in this country like MS-13 whose numbers are well over 100,000 and growing and their goals are not to work the fields and be good people but to target people like this victim because they are easy targets as we are supposed to believe that all illegals are good hard working people just here to work.

Think about it, she freaking left her 4month old child in the car while she went in to pay a bill? In a way it's ironic, if the car had been stolen out of the parking lot along with her child people would be all over her saying what a horrible mother she was but since she got killed 'She's such a good and cool moom.

Also, on the video they show the "illegal scum" getting to the getaway car that he arrived in. The original driver of that car was also approached at knife point, but she gave up her keys and car. But then, she did not have a baby in her car to protect and fight for.

The way I read it was that she was stabbed for not turning over the keys due to the baby still being inside. Why not just drop a check in the mail to pay the bill and not run in and leave a baby in a car. You never know now days what can happen in this crazy world filled by folks who want stuff for free. I think had this thug been arrested before he should have been deported and not allowed to stay in our country.

Not only can the heat kill a child in a few very short minutes but it is also ILLEGAL to leave a child in a car even if you are only going in to pay for gas or for any other reason. What if she would've gone in the phone store and there were lots of people in line and she had to wait 15 minutes, the baby would've died from the heat?!?!?! Maybe, but we will never know, if she had taken the baby in with her she would've given up her keys and still be alive.
I don't mean to sound harsh but people need to start using their heads and obeying the law!!!

It amazes me that this criminal has a record with stays in jail and he is still in our country. Why was he not deported the first time he committed an offense. This poor woman may be alive now if that had happened as it should have. We are being overrun by illegals and I for one am more than sick and tired of it. The minute they jump that border they have committed a crime and should never be allowed back in this country. I am fed up. God bless that poor family.

It is also a crime to leave your child in a car unattended.
This is very tragic and sad. A mistake that cost someone her life.
